However, grown stones are not guaranteed to be the more ethical option. We work with lab grown diamonds sourced from vendors we trust to foster as much conciousness in our selection as possible.

Natural Diamonds
Diamonds have seen ages pass, and have witnessed times that are just stories and lore to us now. Saturated with a sense of mystery and enchantment, natural diamonds have been treasured and sought after for centuries, and have been used in many ritual and ceremonial contexts, adding to their sense of mystique and significance. Natural diamonds hold the magic of the historic, and it's an honor to work with them and bring them to life.
Misfit Diamonds, one of our primary natural diamond sources, believes establishing documented origin is one of the first steps to creating transparency in the diamond industry. They explore the working conditions, labor practices, and environmental factors involved in the extraction of each of their precious stones.
We also work with Poli Trading Company, where they work tirelessly to source antique and vintage gems, as well as bold, modern cuts.

Considering the Future
It's important to note that lab grown diamonds may not hold their value over time, and have an unclear secondary market value. They can also come from mixed sources that are neither kind to those who create them, nor the environment. By working with Diamond Foundry's grown diamonds, we hope to find a balance between affordability and concious sourcing.
