Keep away from all harsh detergents and chemicals, including chlorine in pools, salt water, hair sprays, and hand sanitizers.

If any sensitivities do occur on the skin, please remove and wash with dish soap and allow to fully dry. If sensitivities continue to take place, please send along an email to thenorthwaystudio@gmail.com and do not fret!

Every piece is made with reclaimed and recycled fine golds, but irritation can occur even if no allergies are known due to a multitude of things due to the other metals present in the alloys we cast with. 

No ring, or jewel, is indestructible. Please wear with care during all daily activities, and remove for sleep, showering, swimming, contact with chemicals, lotions or hand sanitizers, working with tools, working out, gardening, or any other time that something could injure your finger or the ring.

And remember, the more love you feel, the brighter the jewels will shine.

To clean jewels and fine metals, simply give a warm bath with dawn dish soap and a soft bristle toothbrush. Pat dry fully.

Do not use an ultrasonic since these can loosen stones and cause damage on some gemstones. 

Every amulet is made to be worn and loved for a lifetime, and we stay beside each one long after it leaves the studio. Here is what that care looks like.

Spa days, always free
Send your piece back for a spa day whenever it needs one. Cleaning, polishing, prong checks, and stone tightening are complimentary for the life of your piece, as often as you like. A little freshening before a big day is always welcome.

Sizing
Your first re-sizing is included at no cost, because fingers change over the years and your ring should keep fitting beautifully. Any re-sizing after the first is billed at cost. Please allow around five work weeks for a sizing, sometimes longer when a textured portion must be hand-carved to match.

Accent and melee stones
Replacement of small accent stones, such as diamond dewdrops or halo melee, is covered at no cost within the first two years of your piece's life. This does not include center stones or larger accent stones.

Larger repairs and recasts
For anything more involved, such as a recast or a repair after an accident, please reach out to Maria directly. She will look after your piece and share pricing before any work begins.

This warranty is void if your piece is taken to another jeweler to be worked on. Outside work can compromise the integrity of a hand-carved piece, so please always come to us first.
