The North Way Studio is proud to create every talisman with reclaimed, domestically refined fine metals, along with natural diamond melee traced back to their mines of origin, each through our casting house which is certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council.
Natural diamonds used within our creations as center stones range from reclaimed antiques, to Canadian origin upon request. Misfit Diamonds is a phenomenal diamond supplier that is available upon The North Way Studio for weaving into each amulet.
For gemstones, such as sapphires, spinel, and rubies, they are selected for their spark and soul from suppliers that Maria is not only honored to call friends, but who have also worked with The North Way Studio throughout the years to ensure as much transparency as possible when selecting a jewel for your token of love.
All creations are crafted in reclaimed and refined fine metals.
This includes 14 karat and 18 karat golds, platinum, or palladium. They are never plated over base metals. White rhodium plating is not used to allow the natural hue of white gold to shine through.
All rings come with one free re-sizing and unlimited spa days if needed for a deep cleaning, stone tightening, or polishing for a big day.
Please note that sizing of rings takes around five full work weeks, sometimes longer if a sizing portion needs to be carved to match textures.
Please see our Amulet Care page for more information on warranties.
Shipping
The North Way Studio ships using UPS for domestic packages. All creations ship with insurance. Please provide your correct shipping address at check-out, and any business names needed if shipping to a business. Insured packages will have to be signed for by someone 21 years of age or older.
All international packages are legally declared at full value of the item, so please note that they will likely have duty or custom fees once delivered in your country. The North Way Studio is not responsible to pay these fees, or responsible for any delays due to customs.
Additional FAQ
I do not work with client gemstones and have not since October of 2019. Thank you for your understanding.
Since each creation is my art, I do not send out blank, or empty settings. It's a bit like asking another painter to take over for just the important details on a canvas, and then claiming it's the other artists work still.
Gold mixtures can sometimes cause a mild skin reaction depending on allergies, chemicals that have come into contact with the skin or ring, and even salt water. If you notice any reaction at all, please remove your ring and soak it in a warm soapy water, such as dawn dish soap. Scrub it with a toothbrush, and also clean your hands well. Dry both thoroughly. It’s best to keep all strong chemicals, lotions, and even hand sanitizer away from metals for their longevity and your comfort. White gold does contain nickel in its mixture. If you have a known nickel allergy, please message me for other white metal options such as platinum or palladium.
Every creation comes wrapped in a small velvet box, perfect for proposals and storing your heirloom for years to come!
As of 5/8/2024, The North Way Studio is pausing acceptance of all new international orders due to shipment loss and shipping rule changes in customs. We hope this change will be temporary as we try to figure out the safest and fastest way to ship internationally. Please email with any questions in regards to international orders.
No. I will not copy another artist's or company's work due to ethical reasons. It is stealing and wrong. Please do not ask for a price quote on another artist's work.
At this time, unfortunately not. To keep everything fair and organized, orders are first come, first serve in my work queue. However, shipping can always be upgraded to overnight for domestic orders, or even a bit quicker for international orders. Please send along a message if you've placed your orders and would like to upgrade to faster shipping.
